The Most Used Pop Song in the Modern Movie-making?

I was in college when Katrina and the Waves released "Walking on Sunshine." I even saw they perform it on American Bandstand (Lord, am I old or what?!?!)

While some would balk at my reference to K and the Ws as "one hit wonders," I'll risk it. However, my question is more about this particular song than their career.

If I tried hard enough, I could list no less than 7 or 8 films made in the last twenty years that have that song included. That seems excessive to me. Is it? Are other songs used as frequently. Am I keyed on this song because a college sweetheart bought me the 45 and I'm merely sensative to it?

If anyone has any idea where I might search the web to find where and when songs are used in movies, please let me know!
